The island end to end, from the Caldeirão rim down to Vila do Corvo: asphalt first, then a dirt track past the Trevo stream. The route rounds the Coroínha cone above the Pingas cliff, then drops between dry stone walls to the basalt face the islanders read as an Indian's head, and ends at the Areia beach among the village's old windmills. Medium, 10.3 km, three hours.
