Levada

A level walk along an old levada on the high ground of the Capelo peninsula, inside the central protected landscape. It starts at Cabeço dos Trinta, with a marked detour through a tunnel into the crater of the cone itself, now filled with endemic scrub, and then follows the channel through laurel forest. Easy, 7.6 km, two and a half hours between 610 and 730 metres.
