Vinhas da Criação Velha

The classic walk through the Criação Velha vineyards on the west coast, inside the protected landscape and the UNESCO listing of 2004. Everything the vineyard culture built is on this route: the walled currais, the rola-pipas chutes cut into the slope to roll barrels down to the boats, the cart ruts, the shelter huts, the cellars and the tidal wells. Easy, 7 km.
