Calheta do Nesquim

A circuit from the harbour at Calheta do Nesquim on the south coast, in front of the 1852 church of São Sebastião. The village was one of the centres of Azorean whaling and its whaleboat house is now a museum. The route reaches the Feteira harbour and its natural pools before turning inland; the register advises going clockwise for the views. Graded medium, 9.1 km.
