A Costela de Lilith — Women's Community Theatre Workshops

A Costela de Lilith returns to São Jorge with a series of free artistic workshops for women, running from October to December 2026. Hosted by 9’Circos – Associação de Artes Circenses dos Açores, the workshops offer a journey of artistic exploration through writing, voice, body movement, set design, costumes, and lighting. The program includes creative writing and autofiction led by Liliana Janeiro, body and voice workshops also led by Janeiro, an intensive voice workshop by Nina Souliment, and set design, costumes, and lighting by Rocio Matosas. While the workshops are conducted in Portuguese, they provide a unique opportunity for women to engage with the local community and explore their creativity. Registration is required in advance.
