On December 20, 2026, the Lagoa Municipality and the Praia da Rocha Rotary Club, in collaboration with other Algarve Rotary Clubs and the Ideias do Levante Cultural Association, present the Solidarity Christmas Concert at the Lagoa Congress Centre. The Algarve International Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Peter Fudge, and the Algarve International Choir, led by Maestrina Maria Saramago, will perform. The concert will also feature soloist Carla Pontes. This two-hour event, including a 30-minute intermission, celebrates the Christmas spirit through music, bringing together musicians and performers from various nationalities. Half of the concert's proceeds will benefit the Ferragudo Elderly Support Centre (CAIF), aiding their mission to support the elderly in Ferragudo. Tickets are priced at €20, with discounts for Cultural Passport holders available at Lagoa's ticket offices.
