Padrão Alminhas/Salto da Farinha

A link between the parishes of Achadinha and Salga on the north coast, starting at the Achadinha garden by the 1831 liberal landing obelisk and the Padrão das Alminhas. The path follows a levada that once fed a watermill through a stretch of small waterfalls, and passes the house given to the Azorean writer João de Melo. Easy to medium, 4.3 km, two hours.
