The short circuit above Faial da Terra to the Salto do Prego waterfall and the restored hamlet of Sanguinho, abandoned in the 1970s. It follows the left bank of the stream through dense cheesewood and blackwood, crosses to the waterfall, then returns through the hamlet's stone houses. Graded medium, 4.6 km, two hours; the register asks walkers not to pick the orchard fruit.
