The Museu de Angra do Heroísmo invites you to experience the rich musical heritage of the Azores with its series of baroque organ concerts. Held at the Church of Nossa Senhora da Guia, these concerts feature the historic organ constructed in 1788 by António Xavier Machado and Cerveira, and beautifully restored in 2011 by Dinarte Machado. Resident organist Gustaaf van Manen performs pieces from the 16th to the 18th centuries, offering an authentic auditory experience in a venue known for its exceptional acoustic and cultural significance.
