Needle Felting Workshop at MAH

Join the MAH for a needle felting workshop, part of the Azores Craft and Design Center's educational project. This activity celebrates wool as a regional raw material and encourages the transmission of knowledge about Azorean textile arts. Needle felting, also known as dry felting, involves transforming wool fibers using special needles that mold and compress the material without water or soap. Participants will have the opportunity to create expressive decorative, sculptural, and utilitarian pieces, exploring various forms, volumes, and textures. This workshop is a dialogue between tradition, experimentation, and contemporary design.
