Grande Rota do Oeste

The West Great Route, a two-stage crossing of the western half of Terceira from the Lagoa das Patas recreation reserve to the Mata da Serreta. Thirty-one kilometres through recreation areas, coastal cliffs, semi-natural forest and mountain, split by the register into legs of 21.9 and 9.3 km. Graded hard; ten hours if it is walked in one day.
