Baía do Silêncio Mimesis is an artistic and musical event that draws inspiration from the rich natural environment of the Azores. Running from September 20 to 30, 2026, this project explores the ancient concept of mimesis, which involves imitation and representation. The event invites attendees to embark on a sonic journey rooted in the observation and listening of Azorean nature. The sea, wind, volcanic landscapes, fauna, flora, mist, and birdsong are reinterpreted into original sounds and compositions. This artistic experience offers a new perspective on nature through the fusion of music, sensitivity, and territory.
