Celebrate World Heart Day on the island of Pico with a series of events aimed at promoting cardiovascular health. The centerpiece is a community walk and the creation of a giant human banner in the shape of a heart. These activities are designed to raise awareness about the importance of healthy living habits. Additionally, free health screenings will be available to all participants at Largo Cardeal Costa Nunes from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This initiative is a collaboration between the local government and the Island Health Unit of Pico (USIP).
