Fajã d'Além

A circuit down to Fajã d'Além on the north coast and back up the cliff. The fajã is one of the island's smallest and most remote, still worked in the old way: rural houses, small plots, cellars and the Moinho do Sr. Moisés watermill. The return climbs the east side on an old rock staircase, very slippery in rain, which is why 4.7 km is graded hard. Check the register before you go.
